Campius may collect account and campus-verification information, profile details, content you create, messages, interactions, device and diagnostic information, and location only when you use a feature that requires it and grant permission.
How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, provide social and campus features, enforce audience choices, deliver notifications, improve reliability, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
Content and audiences
You choose the audience for supported Posts, Reels and Stories. Public content may be visible to other Campius members. Private content is limited by the selected audience, but recipients can still capture or reshare what they see.
Messages and private media
Messages and private media are provided only to authorized participants. Campius uses access controls and temporary media links where implemented. Do not share highly sensitive information through social messaging.
Location
Location access is optional and used only for features such as nearby discovery, campus maps, live shuttles or library-seat verification. Permission can be removed in device settings.
Service providers
Campius relies on infrastructure providers for authentication, databases, file storage, email delivery, notifications, app distribution and optional AI features. They process information only as needed to provide those services.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained while your account is active and as necessary for security, dispute resolution and legal compliance. You can request permanent deletion from inside the app. Some limited records may be retained where legally or operationally required.
Your choices
- Edit profile and privacy settings.
- Choose content audiences.
- Block or report accounts and content.
- Disable optional device permissions.
- Delete your account and associated data.
Children
Campius is intended for eligible campus members and is not directed to children below the minimum age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction.
Policy changes
Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this website. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies from its effective date.
